First, I would like to mention that, this blog entry will not have anything about Japan. It’s about how I feel and think differently about the little things in my home country after I started studying abroad. If you’re still interested, feel free to proceed!
===================================================
If you ask if I miss Malaysian food, the answer will be “Yes! I can’t wait to eat them,”. But, when I was back in Malaysia, whenever someone asked me what do I want to eat, I couldn’t come up with anything. Maybe I prefer home cooking over “the” Malaysian food (sold in stalls and shops). Home cooking has the kind of “I’m home” taste which nothing else can replace.
Okay, the monologue ends here. Let’s look at photos of Malaysian Food. (I’m sure I ate more than these, but I forgot to take pictures of them. >︿<)
I spent almost every day doing nothing in particular for the past month back at my home in Malaysia. In the morning, I would wake up only after I was satisfied with how much I slept. At night, together with my mom, we binge-watched Korean-drama until it’s bedtime. In the end, we finished 4 dramas within a month. (Just in case if someone is interested about what we watched, the names are: My Strange Hero, My Horrible Boss, Angel’s Last Mission: Love, Doctor John.) To be honest, I don’t really remember what I did in the afternoon for most of the days after I finished reading a novel for the first few afternoons.
For the days that I didn’t stay at home, I went out to meet my friends. We had meals together, talked about random topics, and played a few board games (and card games). I had a whale of a time being together with them. I would recommend playing board games (and also card games) with (close) friends that you haven’t talked for an extended period because they provide new topics spontaneously when we ran out of things to talk about. (✿◡‿◡)
Sometimes, it’s a little sad to find out that my friends had changed, let it be their personality or their views on life. From another perspective, these changes can be said to be normal too as we have been living our own lives, in totally different environments. Also, it’s interesting to find out what and how they changed and what stayed the same. (☆▽☆)

Looking back at what I did for the past month, I feel like I should have taken more photos as they are precious moments that I would like to keep a record of. Too bad that I always forgot to take photos of things before they ended. Now, what should I do? Www
=== Advice ===
・If you plan to leave your house/room for an extended period, make sure (10000%) you throw away the rubbish, especially food waste.
(I’m having a hard time because of this careless mistake. ಥ_ಥ)
・Remember to check the date of expiry of your passport and renew it if needed when you go back to your home country.
(I wouldn’t be able to go back the next time if I noticed this a day later. (°ー°〃))
